UE MINI BOOM App Reviews

I was having trouble connecting my speaker with this app until I stumbled upon an important issue: the UE MINI BOOM & UE Mobile Boombox look identical. Theyre two separate products released within years of each other but share the externals. I was only able to discern which model I had by looking on the underside of my speaker & noting the "Mobile Boombox" there, in tiny font. Therefore, this app isnt connecting to my speaker because its NOT a UE MINI BOOM. I cant fault the app for that but wish Logitech/UE had built in more intelligence into the app, like s simple message saying Please verify you have a UE MINI BOOM (check underneath for your model, UE Mobile Boomboxes arent supported). I still love my speaker & it sounds great to me but s bit more transparency wouldve been appreciated. Hope this helps you all.

This app is easy to use. First, I connected the UE mini boom to charge it. After a couple of hours, I followed the instructions to pair it with my iphone. I never disconnected the mini boom from the computer until I finished pairing it to the phone. It was quick and easy.

I can’t get it to connect to any of my devices! An iPhone 6 with iOS 8.1, or an iPad mini 2 running the same. I can play music on it from bluetooth, so I am connected, but the app says it not connected. Can’t find anything on the web to fix this either...

Dang. I feel cheated of something here. Two stars cause I guess it should work with the MINI boom WHICH LOOKS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE MOBILE -_-

Connects to sony experia with 0 problems. IPod touch, no luck, close far fully charged nothing seems to connect the two.

Not sure why the app works perfectly for some and doesnt at all for others. Ive got an iPhone 6 and it all just worked. If this helps this is the order I did thing... I turned on the Mini Boom and synced it to my phone (General->Bluetooth) Played some music through it made sure it worked (sounds amazing) I installed the app Opened the app and it IMMEDIATELY found the speaker. Done.

Ok, you can set the volume (on two UE minis that are paired) separately, which is nice. However, I would like a button within the app to sync the volume on both speakers to the same level instead of turning one up and the other down until they are "close".

Id like to tailor sound to the space the speaker finds itself in.

I bought one of these UE Mini Boom speakers and it sounded much better than I expected. I couldnt stop wondering what two of them would sound like "doubled up" with this app. So I bought a second UE Mini Boom. And I dont regret it. It sounds even better! So much good sound comes out of these little speakers!!! / Sometimes the app works right off the bat and you can eaisly hook of both speakers and the sound is amazing. But sometimes you have to fight with it for a bit before it works right. But I think the end results are worth fighting with it. I like the way this sounds when you have two of them hooked together at once. / Also, sometimes the sound will drop out for a second for no reason. I dont care for that, but again, its still worth these drop outs to have that great paired sound of both speakers. I have also noticed that when paired this way with two speakers the sound will drop out if you stand between one of the speakers and the iPhone/source. STILL............ when I go into my garage to work, I bring my two US Mini Boom speakers and hook them together for a roboust sound instead of my Bose Mini Link or any of my other Bluetooth Speakers. / Makes me wonder how much better the bigger UE Boom would wound "doubled up" or maybe even the UE Mega Boom ?!?

Works great with bluetooth Mini Boom. Shows all the pertinent information I need to see on my device. Have not tried the double up, have no interest in that feature. For what I use it for, it’s super.

PLEASE MAKE IT WHERE YOU CAN USE IT ON THE iPads. I have a mini and streaming music/movies would be so awesome with this app. Thanks.

I want to just pick up the two devices, turn them on, and they work. Im constantly having to mess with the software and it *sometimes* connects both speakers. They are great speakers alone, but coupled, it isnt worth the money

Downloaded app to double up to UE Mini Speakers because they would not pair manually. Still didnt work. UE/Logitech is a really good brand but this app and pairing option is crappity-crap-crap.

I sure understand the need for an ap to do the double pairing, but why the hell do I need to download an ap to play one speaker? really? so stupid.

Love the speaker. Sound is great. Bluetooth is flawless. But the app is TERRIBLE. In order to use the speaker you have to have the app and it does its job. But it is not at all aesthetically pleasing and is rarely updated. Please make it more like the UE Boom app. It would make the speaker so m better.

I was running Stereo just fine on my iPad 3rd gen 64gb on 8.4...When I updated to 9.2..Stereo mode no longer works and the 2 speaker that tried to become the 2nd speaker in Stereo sound all distorted.. Please fix

It is a simple app that works well to use 2 mini booms as stereo speakers. It is hard to beat the convenience of these little speakers and with two you get even nicer sound.

Ipad cannot locate this device. I updated, turned on and off, etc etc and no signal. I know Mini Boom is working since I can play from my phone. Please fix so annoying.
